Population Ecology and Migration (Bird Ringing Centre)

The centre for bird marking in Radolfzell (part of "Vogelwarte Radolfzell") has ringed birds for many years.
Now, the focus is shifting from the traditional work about migration routes, which is still going on, to more intricate research questions.
For instance, questions about sexual selection in the relation between migration strategy and arrival date in the breeding area
with individual quality and breeding success.
